Scrubbly is free. Use it as much as you like. It changes how video players look and behave in your own browser, nothing more — so these terms are short, and none of them are surprises.

What Scrubbly is

Scrubbly is a browser extension that replaces the video controls on the sites you visit with one consistent set, locally, inside your browser. scrubbly.app is its website. By installing the extension or using this site, you agree to these terms.

Your license

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Scrubbly on your own devices, through the official browser stores it ships in. Do not redistribute modified copies under the Scrubbly name or present a fork as the official product; the Scrubbly name and mark belong to its maker.

The sites you watch on

Scrubbly changes the player chrome in your browser — it does not host, unlock, download, or alter any content. Your relationship with each site (accounts, subscriptions, and that site’s own terms) stays entirely between you and that site, and staying within those terms is your responsibility. Scrubbly is independent: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, X, Vimeo, or any other platform, whose names and logos belong to their owners.

No warranty

Scrubbly is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Websites change their players without notice, and a control that works today can break tomorrow; we fix things, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features may change or be discontinued.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrubbly and its maker are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension or this site. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Scrubbly — which is nothing.

Privacy

Scrubbly collects nothing: no analytics, no accounts, no network requests of its own. The full policy is one honest page.
