The whole policy, honestly.

Collects nothing. Hides nothing.

Effective 5 August 2026. Applies to the Scrubbly browser extension and scrubbly.app.

What Scrubbly collects

Nothing. Scrubbly has no analytics, no accounts, no telemetry, and makes no network requests of its own. It cannot see your browsing history, and it does not read, store, or transmit the content of the pages you visit.

What stays on your device

Your settings: which sites you have switched to enhanced mode, and any volume or speed values you have pinned. These live in your browser’s local extension storage, never leave your machine, and are deleted by your browser when you uninstall the extension.

Why it asks for the permissions it asks for

Storage keeps your per-site settings on your device. Access to the active tab lets the toolbar popup show and change the mode of the site you are currently on. The extension runs on all sites because that is the product: the same video controls wherever you watch. On sites where you have not enabled it, it stays out of the way.

Third parties

There are none. No data is sold or shared, because no data exists. This website is a set of static pages with self-hosted fonts and no analytics.

Changes

If a future version of Scrubbly ever changes what it stores or touches, this page will change with it, and the store listing’s data disclosures will be updated before that version ships.
